Start of Spring 2012 Production Season

Greetings!

I'd like to personally welcome you to our new, redesigned website. Here you'll find the latest student programming and ongoing opportunities at WNYF-TV. Our 2012 production season will begin airing on Campus Channel 6 beginning Monday, January 30th. This semester brings a few landmarks at the station - Eyewitness News will begin airing live three times weekly (Sunday, Monday and Wednesday), Late Nite Fredonia will be returning after a short hiatus, and we will hope to finalize our full transition to High Definition broadcasting by the start of 2013. By joining WNYF-TV, you are signing up to join an incredibly talented group of students at SUNY Fredonia. For more than 30 years, WNYF-TV has prided itself in giving students opportunities to succeed in modern television broadcasting. I encourage you to stop by our table at FSU4U Night (formerly Activities Night) or check out our jobs page located here

The producers want and need your help with their productions. I encourage you to use WNYF-TV as a resource to build your future resume and improve skills outside the classroom. The 2012 Executive Staff is committed to making sure that anyone who wants to get involved is able to participate. If you need anything, please feel free to contact myself or any other member with questions or concerns.

We love televison. We hope you do too.

John Matey

2012 President and General Manager
